What to Expect From Your Flora Farms Dispensary Visit
February 1, 2023

It’s an exciting time to be a cannabis enthusiast in Missouri. We received the final approval from the state for adult use sales to begin February 3rd, 2023. We wanted to share what you can expect when you come in to shop at a Flora Farms dispensary, whether it’s your very first time, or your hundredth!

Who Can Shop at Missouri Dispensaries?

Under the new Missouri marijuana program there are two kinds of marijuana purchasers: adult use consumers and medical marijuana patients.

Adult use marijuana may be purchased by consumers who are at least twenty-one years of age. Up to 3 ounces may be purchased in a single transaction, and consumers may be in possession of up to 3 ounces of marijuana at any time.

Medical marijuana may be purchased by patients who obtained a patient ID card through the state of Missouri. All approved patient ID card holders will be allowed a standard allotment of 6 ounces (or more based on physician recommendation) within a thirty day period.

Now that we know who can shop and how much may be purchased, here’s what you can expect when you visit a Flora Farms dispensary!

You’ll Be Carded

Upon entering a Flora Farms dispensary, you’ll notice a queue to the reception window. At the window, our friendly receptionist will ask to see a valid government-issued photo ID to verify age.

Adult use customers can choose to shop anonymously or to create a profile with us which allows you to enjoy the Flora Farms loyalty program along with other benefits.

Medical patients need to show either their Missouri patient ID card, or out of state medical can show a valid government-issued photo ID and a patient ID card.

Browse the Menu

After checking in, our receptionist will direct you to a waiting area until the next budtender is available to serve you.

All Flora Farms dispensaries have a dedicated register for medical patients with priority service given.

While you wait, check out what’s available on the menu! We have menu boards in waiting areas, plus you can always browse online.

Ask Your Budtender

Budtenders are more than salespeople, they are cannabis professionals trained to provide you with recommendations.

Don’t worry if you aren’t sure what to purchase or have questions about consumption. One of the best ways to learn is to ask your budtender any questions you may have.

Our budtenders can advise on dosage, consumption, and expected effects. If you’re willing to share what you’re looking for and what experience you’d like to receive, they’ll even offer personal recommendations on products.

Once you’ve made your selections, your budtender will handle finishing your transaction. We currently accept cash or debit. The budtender will bag your purchase and you’re all set to head home and enjoy! Please remember, no consumption is allowed on dispensary property.

Don’t Forget, Starting February 3rd

To shop you need:

  • To be 21+ years old with valid government-issued photo ID
  • Or to be 18+ years old with a Missouri patient ID card
    • Out of state medical patients must also provide a valid government-issued photo ID
  • Ideas about what you’re looking for or questions about what you’re seeking
  • Cash or debit card
