All good things come to those who wait. And oh boy have we (and you all) waited. We’ve gotten tons of messages over the last few months, and we’re so excited to say that the wait is (almost) over. Flora Farms Hollister opens June 28, and we could not be more excited! 

We started planning for this dispensary almost a year ago, so we’re basically proud parents over here ready to show off our shining newborn. Since Adult Use went into effect in February 2023, we’ve learned a lot about the best way to design and operate a recreational dispensary.

Parking for days 

One of the biggest challenges we’ve faced since Missouri went recreational is the increase in traffic. Many of our dispensary parking lots are tiny and getting in and out of them can be, shall we say, tight at times. (Let’s be honest, it can be a real pain in butt.)  

That will not be the case at the Hollister dispensary. As the ever-great Kevin Costner said in Field of Dreams, “if you build it, they will come.” Well, we built it—a large parking lot that is. And we can’t wait for you to come!  

The dispensary is conveniently situated near Highway 65, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. Clear signage directs you to the parking areas and drive-through lane, ensuring a smooth experience from the moment you arrive.  As you can see in the image below the first turn-in you come to is enter only. On the right is a lane for the drive-through and on the left is entrance lane for all other traffic. The exit lane is not pictured here, but it’s on the side of the parking lot near Angler’s Lodge. 

Spacious entryway and ample waiting room 

Foot traffic is also a lot busier now that we are in our Adult Use era. On busy days and during big promotions our dispensaries have seen long lines. Now we can’t promise you’ll never experience a wait at the Hollister dispensary, but we’ve made every effort to make your experience as quick and comfortable as possible. We’ve created an extended entrance to cut down on waiting in line outside. We’ve also built a large and comfortable waiting room with lots of seating.

Drive-through service for pre-orders 

We are proud to offer drive-through service, designed for the ultimate convenience. This feature is perfect for those who prefer to pre-order their products online and pick them up without leaving their vehicle. Our drive-through lane wraps around the back of the building, providing a discreet and efficient way to collect your order. Currently, our drive-through is for pre-orders only.   

Twelve registers for quick service 

We value your time, and to minimize wait times, our dispensary is equipped with 12 registers. This means more staff available to assist you and faster checkouts. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular customer, you’ll appreciate the swift and friendly service. 

Large vault and extensive selection 

Our large vault ensures we have a wide variety of products available at all times. Unlike some dispensaries where products are taken from the vault and put on the sales floor, our Hollister location operates on a fulfillment-style model. Your order is sent to the back, where our staff promptly prepares it and places it in a pick-up window. This system not only enhances security but also ensures a large selection of products for you to choose from.

We’re super excited to be able to offer sniff jars at the Hollister dispensary, allowing you to smell different strains before making your purchase. We don’t utilize sniff jars at all of our locations, so we’re pretty pumped for this perk.
