Exciting News! Flora Farms is currently in search of three individuals who are qualified and eager to be a part of the Flora Farms Team! We are currently looking to fill the following jobs: Marketing Manager/Sales Assistant, Cultivation Associate, & Packaging Associate.

Marketing Manager/Sales Assistant

At Flora Farms, marketing is about understanding people and building awareness of Missouri’s new cannabis industry and how our products and services can satisfy our customers’ needs. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate has experience executing marketing campaigns while working with outside contractors to build a new brand. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy and thriving in a start-up environment. If you are a creative people-person who loves brand development, we want to hear from you.

  • Establish brand identity, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across social platforms
  • Lead the execution of marketing strategies from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with our external marketing firm
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and best practices to build successful strategies
  • Conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or creative field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with Hubspot CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy, specifically Instagram and Facebook Business Suite
  • Proven experience in basic web design
  • Willingness and ability to travelExperience with Canva, Photoshop, or other visual design software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Cultivation Associate

Cultivation Associates shall care for all plants in the vegetative and flowering growth phases, following precise nutrient regimens and pest-prevention procedures in order to maximize plant health. Cultivation Associates work directly with each zone manager to ensure that the cultivation areas are always clean, all plants are labeled, tracked, and all production goals are on schedule. Cultivation associates will ensure that the demand for all plants of the appropriate strains are propagated in a manner consistent with the Director of cultivation’s schedule for production.

We are looking to fill a Wednesday through Sunday schedule with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

Required experience, qualifications and education: The Cultivation Associate should have a high school diploma at minimum or an equivalent. The individual should have an interest in understanding all stages of the cannabis life cycle. They need to be able to collaborate with team members to ensure success of their area.

  • Assists with daily plant maintenance: irrigation, nutrition management, cloning, pruning, topping, training
  • Clean/sanitize area, and transplant plants at different growth stages to prepare them for the flowering stage.
  • Propagate at least 1,300 clones from mother cultivars on a weekly time frame based on tight production schedules
  • Log and track plants across stages of growth in traceability software to ensure compliance and scheduling requirements are met
  • Perform tasks related to sanitation, decontamination, propagation, transplantation, harvest, trimming, etc. in a highly productive and efficient manner to maximize yield
  • Top, defoliate, and prune plants based on instructions provided by management.
  • Move plants from the vegetation to stage into designated flowering rooms, space the plants according to the number of plants per bench, ensure irrigation stakes and emitters are placed correctly to ensure all plants are receiving adequate amounts of water.
  • Work with Zone Managers and Director of Cultivation to determine changes needed based on the nutritional and/or environmental needs of the crop.
  • Maintain appropriate biosecurity measures.
  • Manually and/or by cart transport waste to dumping area.
  • Clears pots and waste out of greenhouse to prepare for new planting.
  • Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies and products throughout the work shift to make certain department is clean when management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.
  • Completes tasks in a timely and efficient manner according to company objectives and SOPs

Packaging Associate

Packaging Associates play a key role in the cultivation environment. The Packaging Associate is responsible for carrying out all daily packaging, labeling and cleaning procedures as outlined by Flora Farms. They closely adhere to all Packaging SOPs and policies, and closely inspect products for quality assurance, flaws and imperfections. Packaging Associates will utilize their great organizational skills and attention to detail while packaging flower for both wholesale and retail distribution, in strict compliance with state and local rules and regulations.

Skills, Abilities & Essential Duties:

  • Package product according to schedule for the given day.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of packaging SOPs.
  • Track and log all products and batches worked on.
  • Accurately count product for final packaging.
  • Daily Cleaning Routines and Activities.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to complete multiple projects with excellent follow-through.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to print labels from premade templates.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Ability to work with uniformity.
  • Follow and execute the company’s standard operating procedures

Qualifications & Education

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 yrs of age
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and obtain Agent ID card.
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry and applications a plus, but not required.
